Love all the gentle things you do
Hand in hand we walk for hours
You bend down gently, pick me pretty flowers
I wear them proudly in my hair
When I’m with you I float on air
I adore the way you caress my skin
Kiss my willing lips on a crazy whim
Make me laugh with a silly joke
Say words as softly as a butterfly's stroke
These things you do because you care

Life’s twists and turns can cause us pain
With you I’ll dance in the pouring rain
