Who has access? Does all their marvelous imagery come from the recesses of their mind?
Do mystical magical romantic brain connections keep all of these glorious words inside their dendrites? Are there lists? How are they organized? Are they only available to certain poets? Real ones?
Some of the most beautiful poetry touches my heart, but does not make sense to my novice-poet’s mind. Sometimes my heart leaps with joy as it reads a poem, and yet, what can I add? I do not own any of these love- words, and I do not know where the secret poetry book is located. I have not even seen the list!
Flowery love poems, delightful to read, are a complete mystifying anomaly to me, with their terrific words and their wonderful romanticism and fabulous imagery; they are mysteriously out of my reach.
