Fool's Gold
Only with hope unearthed by will can true treasure come to be
And but through impassioned eyes could such fascination see
A caressing glimmer of desire caught by one heart lends it truth
Found in its natural state it would beguile the purest blood of youth
Prospects of wealth that brings true joy is not wasted in the mind
Only stones unturned will ever know the dreams one left behind
In the softness of these hardened hands faith's pleasure pleads to hold
Such grains that gleam unknown by most except in this Fool's Gold.
