From Different Worlds
he came one day on his black motorcycle
and I was smitten
my heart was breaking
for I knew already we were doomed
we were from different worlds
my parents would never approve
of his bad boy look and ways
and I could never fit into his wild life
but that did not matter
when our eyes connected it was love
we drove the roads wild and free
my arms around his waist
I had never felt so connected to anyone
and we made love
whispering perhaps somehow
there will be a time for us
but we knew the answer was never
and grasped for each moment of now
we were swept away
and I will never forget my time with him
never forget that complete need
and that forever heartbreak
that stays with me even today
and the what if... what if
