Goodbye Nadine

Goodbye Nadine

Over the last two days I have been thinking about all the times we shared
        together.
I don’t know why I am feeling sad and melancholy about this.
I guess I am human after all, and your friendship meant more to me than I
        thought.
Although you won’t receive this letter until well after I write it, I didn’t want to hamper your new adventure with my plight.
I am thankful for our friendship. Over almost twenty years we did many things I now consider very fond memories.
The secondhand store adventures will always be special to me, as well as the time we walked through the Christmas Shop up in Fond du Lac.
Our walk along Lake Michigan was nice as well. I mean there are so many
        memories.
All the movies we watched. All the talks we had. The ups and downs. I want to thank you for being part of it all.
Thank you for introducing me to Woodman’s.
I remember being your landlord. I remember seeing The Passion of The Christ
with you. Jenny M. was crying and left the theater, and you asked why
didn’t anyone stop what was happening?
I will remember the snow suit you always wore the year we met.
I remember all the different churches we attended.
So, as I close, I wish you well (as I said on the phone) and know that it all meant something to me. I hope you will always keep the Lord in your sight no
       matter what you do.

Purposefully and Ambiguously Yours
