Gorgeous You
I can’t explain the pain,
You went through for 9 months,
To carry me in your womb,
Neither do I know the shame,
Of the burden you had.
I may not understand,
How strong the labor was,
But I know you are the strongest,
You are the undefeatable warrior,
That gave me a new beginning.
From childhood to my now age,
Your kindness has pampered my heart,
With a touch no hand can release,
Your care has been a flight,
To propel me out of pain.
Even without a penny,
You held me in your arms,
Tied your thirst and pangs,
And let me have my fill,
While you watched your son, kindly from far.
From changing my diapers,
To squeezing the mucus,
When my nose clogged,
All the way to sleepless nights,
To see me sleep peacefully like a King.
I can’t forget the prayers you made,
Crying to the Lord to have mercy on me,
The time when my soul was moving out,
And everyone had lost hope of me,
Alone in the wilderness you stayed.
You may not have the muscles,
But you are the strongest,
Your patience and loving heart,
Accompanied by the tears from your soul,
Tell it all; you are the strongest Pillar.
You may not have good occupation,
But you are the richest of all,
You may not be skilled,
But you are wisest,
You are the one my heart adores,
Forever will I love you Mum.
From all the women I have met,
None has been like you Mum,
You are an outstanding woman,
You are marvelous,
Than the golden treasures.
Generously will I celebrate you,
Patiently will I hold you in my heart,
Tenderly will I carry you in my soul,
Persistently will I defend you,
For you are the one and only Mum
