Half a Ton of Love - Wdj
she rings my door and yells at me,
I dare not describe what I see,
a woman fierce with her swords drawn,
I dated when she was a fawn!
pretty she looked then, full of fun,
hearts were young when our love begun,
now she thunders in half a ton,
search for exit from where to run!
folly, foolishness how we love,
deceived, defeated you know how?
I did not see faults that lie deep,
from there, with time, they slowly seep!
inventions, cameras are slick,
could make one that will future click,
not one that shows her current age,
but one to snap future image!
life must be lived no matter what,
even with creatures time forgot,
I wave to her with pleasant smile,
with meek demure, hope to beguile!
