He Left With the Sun

HE LEFT WITH THE SUN

As the sun prepares to touch down,
Be sure you won’t see it again till dawn
But despite, it whist thee a fair night
Oranging the evening sky with all its might
And it will still comeback all right

But when a soul mate leaves with the sun,
In the manner of an evening stroll on the sand
Without saying a word to make things seem fine
And of the news you are green till from pals you find
There is little you can do much more than cry
For you can’t bring him back even if you try

You won’t shed a drop for the sun though
For a silver moon substitute it gives with a bow
And still you are assured of a return by morning
But for a lover you can’t ever stop mourning
You are not even sure if he will return at all
For he didn’t even say goodbye after all
And no one is ever as good a substitute
That would stop the barrels of tears without attitude
