He Lives
He Lives
A blue crystal day reveals
Through diamond reflective windows,
Topaz and tawny tiny fall leaves
Shifting, shuddering on a morning red deck.
To breath in such loveliness
After gray steel days of rain
Is a gift planned by our God
Who eternally nourishes body and soul.
To feel that rhythm not understood,
When black onyx catastrophes crack, tear,
To know He is creating love and beauty, then in turn,
Creating in us the desire for and joy of them.
It cannot be crushed, nor can Love from above,
When endlessly poured from such Power.
To be again restored and revived with Him,
Completes and calms our hours.
