Heart Hidden In Daisy
The petals unfurl at the touch of dawn
like the eyes of the day dreamy,
as the southern zephyr ripples in my lawn
I see the dance of daisy.
The flowers bloom in silence,
look up at the arc of the sun,
soaking its purity as the essence
into heavenly beauty they turn.
As the night melts in sunburst horizon
and the morning haze clears,
on my jade meadow I descry
the sky of emerald is full of stars.
Divine glow pulsates in floral cadence,
succors weary mind with enthralling grace,
enshrined in the patina of innocence
like the placid petals of your face.
Pining for your elusive embrace
with flower of my garden I’ll make a posy,
in your alluring vase I’ll place
my heart hidden in daisy.
