Love Poem: Heartfelt

Heartfelt

My thoughts take a tour
and marvel at the creator’s power
a tiny piece of flesh,
filled with arteries and veins
big on love, its headquarters,
Agape and all others demonstrated through here

experiencing pain every now and then,
feelings pick fights inside each day
true healing also starts from within,
it stays intact even when it is hurt and bleeds
Inflicted wounds no one sees,
Sometimes prone to disease

The seat of kindness
Where empathy and compassion meet with no vileness
Emotion’s bedrock, where they flare and soar high,
the engine of life
only calmed by inhaling and exhaling,
a function it carries naturally, no need explaining

While haters want to possess it,
with a desire to avenge and seek revenge,
causing it pain.
Pressure is unhealthy
Please don’t take it hostage,
allow it do what it does best, love

with no approval
it beats for all
allow it work at a pace it sets
the reality you must accept
If it ever goes down
know you all are done.
