Hope

What is life with out hope?
What will we do without it?
Hope is what keeps us going
with the courage to never quit

We reach out and hold on to
Any hope that we can find
 To bring temporary comfort
 To our over crowded mind

It’s natural for us to lose hope
And walk around with a despair face
But then logic is if we never found hope
How can we lose it in the first place?

But still we keep holding on
Looking ahead for the greener pasture
And the moral strength of our past
We will pave the road to our future

Hope comes in all forms and reasons
 Many hope for different things
Some hope to see or walk again
And some to fly with broken wings

Some hope for wealth and power
Some just hope it rain from above
Some hope for health and food
And I just hope to be with the girl I love

When we see someone with despair
It’s like looking in a mirror
Its either we been there before
Or it’s waiting for us round the corner

Some are born with golden spoons
There forks never got stuck in the roads
And the never had to hope
Because they carry no heavy loads

Not all carries kindness in their hearts
 And that is their purgative
 But without kindness and compassion
Then you have nothing to offer or to give

And although not all will admit
But every one hopes for the best
And some succeed without even hoping
And some just face a lifetime of test

Parents wish the best for their children
And pray to keep them safe from harm
 But sometimes things just happens
And the sea can no longer be calm

And it’s only who in the kitchen
 Can really feel the heat
And hope gives us courage to fight
 Until our victory is complete

And sometime we will reach our limits
 Pushing, pretending, getting frustrated
Tired of falling down and getting up
But still all we can do is hope and wait

And no matter how bad our situation
There is always some one worst than us
Just look around and you will them
On the streets, stores and city bus

And if they reach out a hand to us
Then we must pull them of the slope
And For that moment to them
We become a shining light of hope
