Hourglass
Love is an hourglass. When you're in love with someone and that someone is in love with
you, the hourglass is your time spent together, your connection with each other, your good
times and your rough times. When you really love each other and you don't let your tough
times interfere, your hourglass sand will go on falling endlessly. If you allow your hard
times to control you and determine your love for each other, your hourglass will spill sand
faster and faster until...one day...your love for each other and your hourglass are empty.
At that point you have two choices: You can just leave it as that, empty for each other and
accept it as the end. Or...you can both lift up the hourglass together, turn it upside
down, and let your love for each other flow again like the sand in your hourglass. Don't
miss a second chance, even if it doesn't work out in the end, at least you can live with
the fact that you tried again for the best. Instead of not trying again, and spending the
rest of your life wondering if it could have, would have been...true love...
