HOW DOES LOVE DIE

If it is not watered with love passion, responsibility,
Humor, sensuality, fun, trust, respect and loyalty,
Petal by petal, and leaf by leaf it is bound to die,
Too late, too late to cry.

Treasure each other, as you would a vintage wine,
Chill out, enjoy a romantic restaurant and dine,
Hold hands and look into each other’s eyes,
In summer, choose a table under star studded skies.

Respect is an absolute dire necessity,
Learn together to face life with its every adversity,
And disagree maybe but talk everything through,
And count your blessings that are far more than few.

Never go to bed angry with each other,
This is your husband or wife, your lifetime lover,
For you will wake up in the same frame of mind,
And perhaps this is not being understanding or kind.

Be proud of your partner you vowed to love forever,
Let no one come between you, make life an adventure,
Say ‘i love you ‘at least three times in a day,
And make your lives happy in every possible way.
