Love Poem: Husband

Husband

Looking at you, I see
Gentle sighs,
Colors of grace, a face
Filled with moments,
Blended in laughter, joy
Clinging to hopes and dreams,
Seeds of serenity,
Blessings from above,
Where He planted true love…

Looking into your eyes, I see
Poetry in tears,
Liquid sentiments, moods
Like destiny,
Trembling in the spirit,
Soaring beyond the stars,
Across skies filled with inklings
Verses sent from souls,
Stained with prayers and praise,
Erasing the darkness
Of yesterday…

Looking at you, I see
What it means to believe
Beyond the fears,
Through the worst there is,
Your light ignites
My senses, my feelings
Flowing like longings,
Meant to inspire, stirring light
So that I can see
You are the love that I need,
You are the beauty that I believe
Was sent by the One
Who created me to be
A part of a love much bigger than me…

A love that is alive,
Seeking, sensing, surviving
Every darkness,
All the fears and tears,
Every expression of despair,
Grief that lingers
From the shadows,
Silhouettes of wonder,
Marked by starlight reflections,
Songs that unwrap
Forever, together, whether
We’re better or worse,
Sick or well,
Wrong or right…

We’re in it forever
Together,
Always and forever
Together…
This Love is immeasurable.
