I Don't Want To Lose You

In the twilight's gentle sigh, where shadows softly blend,
I trace the lines of memories, with a heart that won't pretend.
Each whispered promise lingers, like echoes in the night,
A tapestry of laughter woven in our shared delight.

The morning sun awakens dreams that dance upon my skin,
Yet fear creeps like a thief at dawn, where love once held its kin.
For every glance I steal from you ignites a fragile flame,
And though we walk on tender paths, I dread this silent game.

Your voice, a melody that haunts the corridors of time,
An anthem for my weary soul; it wraps me in its rhyme.
But storms can brew in quiet hearts, unseen beneath the calm
What if these fleeting moments fade and leave behind a qualm?

I gather all my courage to weave each word so true:
With every beat that echoes here, I stand and speak to you
I cherish every heartbeat shared beneath the starlit skies;
To lose you would be losing light—the sun within my eyes.

So take my hand; let’s anchor deep amid life’s raging sea.
Let’s carve our names upon the waves where love will always be.
In every sigh and whispered dream—let passion find its due
Forever intertwined we’ll soar; I don’t want to lose you.
