It sucks.
It's absolutely heartbreaking.
Constantly wishing for something
that you can never have.
Forever hoping
that you can reach it.
Forever believing
it may happen.
It doesn't though.
No matter how much you wish,
hope,
believe.
It will never happen.
My case is with someone.
Someone who once loved me,
now that love has faded away.
Not on my side though.
My love for them has never faltered,
not even for a second.
My desire for their love,
never-ending.
My longing to be in their arms,
never fading.
My craving for their kiss,
never vanishing.
I wish I could have them again.
I wish I could hear their "I love you" again.
But I never will.
I love them, but they no longer love me.
