I Want To Be Loved
I want to be loved, so badly,
It's becoming more of a need than a want.
I want to be seen as somebody’s moon—
A gentle reminder of light in their darkest hours.
I want to be someone’s breeze—
To always be felt, even when unseen.
I want to be somebody’s sun—
A light that shines so bright, they can't help but notice.
I want to be somebody’s star,
So they could point at me and say, "That’s my star."
I want to be someone’s art—
A work of imperfection, yet treated so perfectly.
I want to be someone’s heart—
An organ that gives life, beats strong, and endures.
I want to be someone’s poem—
A conversation with paper, an expression of words left unsaid.
