I Will Remain Yours
Will thou listen intently
as the wind does blow gently
to whisper my name within the breeze?
Will thou recall inspired
by thy heated desire
such nights as thou did lie within mine arms?
Can thou now hold her closely
with my visage ghostly
haunting thy mind and thy body firm?
Wilst thou stand at the alter
waiting there without falter
while she walks towards you down the isle?
Able you to lift her veil
and know without fail
that not my face you shall wish to see?
Then as thou leaves the Church
wilst thou be able not to lurch
when pass by me, you behold me weeping in the pew?
