If You Can't Forget

Whenever smiles start to fade, Tears inevitably fall. For you cannot help but cry, If trust means nothing at all. Hope encourages lovers To seize the bull by the horns. For, in that moment, you get To choose the rose or the thorns. It's time to move on with life; And tend to your broken heart. For love hasn't abandoned you, This heartache will soon depart. Relationships cannot last; If they are not meant to be. And though you think life's over, There is so much more to see. If you can't forget, forgive; Don't let pride stand in your way. Yesterday's a memory; Today is a brand-new day.
