Illusion
ILLUSION
Had he ever truly come close to me?
Then why had he appeared in the morning?
He did not speak but left casually.
My ears were eager to listen something.
Had he paid any precise attention?
Had he appeared at evening just by chance?
He had not lifted his eyes, but just gone!
My eyes were too anxious to greet his glance.
Had he ever reared little love for me?
Then why had he dared to enter my room?
Just to hold my hand he did not feel free.
My tingling passion was about to bloom.
An illusion? Had he come really?
How could I endure? I loved him dearly.
