I'M Still Looking For You
Days of wine and roses,
Watching birds and running horses;
Gracing well with a toss of dime,
I wish I could freeze the time.
Swimming together in ocean deep,
Hugging tight in our sleep;
Saving memories that we could keep,
but the test of time was steep.
We parted ways, like a flash of light,
you disappeared before my sight;
I searched for you in shades of hues,
in skies of gray and fields of blues.
My heart had given a few spaces
for company in lonesome places;
But no one takes your place, it's true,
I am still looking for you.
Should I grow old without your company,
and if in search for you, I roam,
I'll keep with me your memory,
for you will always be my home.
