In a Moment
There's a million little molecules and particles of pieces of things I never even knew,
Breaths of air and ashes filled with hopes and fears,
The taste of honey and the silent yet droning ringing in my ears,
And I can't wake up if waking up means being awake,
Because there is a peace in this life that someone's willing to take,
Stealing is one thing but destroying with purpose is another,
No matter how diluted or succumbed to evil that reason may be.
So many,
So many electric little sparks of light in my eyes,
I can't see beyond my scope of life,
You know it's just a field of one hundred and fifty feet,
In any direction even if you are there to see,
So take my expansive yet narrow view of the world,
And expand on my visions to bring change to new lives,
And I don't want to breathe if breathing means taking away,
From some other poor soul that's waiting to breathe today,
Or some life that is breathing for the very first time,
And here I am wasting their precious first words on this rhyme,
I can't leave this once lonely moment alone,
Because being alone isn't even possible in this place,
Look around you one second and see someone else's face,
And if you can't see that far or far enough to take in,
Then get somewhere closer and breathe something in,
Because life isn't lonely or sad or meant to be lived all alone,
We are all parts of a puzzle waiting for you to bring home,
And home is truly wherever your heart is,
Just come home,
Don't live for this moment just to die making a stand,
Against something that someone has no choice but to be,
Or someone else's happiness and every little victory,
Because your life is so somber and you can't find love,
Open your eyes and see that the entirety of everything you see is made of pure love,
You are loved,
So love back...
Don't hate.
Don't... Fight everything.
Don't be sad and alone.
Feel life everywhere you go,
Live life everyday,
Part of something far more.
