In A Word

Broken words, syllables in tortured hearts, need breathing out nouns and verbs, memories of moments when life was more certain, time’s greed breaking away the adjectives, the sentences still as light, falling soft on the spirit who can read love into the clinging vines, roses who tremble in the rustling winds, beside the sea, heart’s bleed wiping away the tears of yesterday’s distress the stories become poetry in colors who’ve agreed… broken words, broken dreams, broken hearts they remember the faith – grace who saved, inklings of faded memories know that love starts blessing the stories, the silent dreams, the poetry who falls into the sea of yesterday, in still parts feelings blown by winds who see that our God He brought us through the lonely seas, as He imparts Music that reveals the history of a soul who’ll rejoice giving love that comes alive, certain it never departs. Broken words – broken words – Can you hear? beneath the nouns and the verbs, the sound so clear broken wings who never soar beyond the fear where He goes, I’ll ever follow – His love is so sincere!
