Is Love Blind
She laid in bed that night,
in thoughts so fond and deep
preventing her from sleep;
They once made him smile bright:
No more now - seems her plight
and gloomy thoughts do creep...
His words when they met last
still echoed in her mind...
"Do you think love is blind?"
Fake words left her aghast,
His love - a thing of past
that he left her behind!
True love can hurt never
Pure love lives forever!
