It ain't just smiles and laughter,
Nor just hugs and kisses,
it ain't just like that,
When you do,
It's about the silence in between,
the comfort in that silence,
And the peace you find within,
It's all about the difference in beliefs,
And how you listen to it,
How you learn about it,
And day by day, fall in love with it,
Sometimes it's about the past we had,
How we become at peace with it,
How the love we have this time,
Loves the person we once were,
I know sometimes it would feel strange,
Sometimes scary,
Maybe weird,
But this is the beauty of what real love is.
