Jesus Christ is King
Stories breath light on my spirit,
Silence the melancholy, reveal the gentle
Listen to the voice of a grace that clings to me,
From the One who sings shelter through His everlasting love.
Images sing beautiful to my soul,
Releasing the music – stars out of control,
Promising joy, peace and so much more,
From the One who lasts forever, a melody God exposes.
Messages rising from the winds,
Fulfilling hearts, tempting the fears,
With love more beautiful than I can imagine,
From the One who gave each soul the chance to overcome.
Songs of grace paint the twilight,
With encouragement and assurance,
A place to always know the meaning of life,
From the One who colors the spirit in foreverness, fulfillment.
Poetry stirs the moments, with fire,
Sent to those who believe, and desire,
Wonder than can’t be revealed without love
From the One who answers our prayers with His goodness…
The One who seeks and finds,
Shadows the life with His smile,
Frees the sinner and makes it all right,
Because, with Him, there is a joy that abides throughout life…
With Him, there is something more than I can write,
There is love that defies all the heart’s greatest urge,
There is love that is greater than I can hope to depict.
With Jesus, there is the wonder than comes from real faith.
With Jesus, there is love that overcomes every doubt.
With Him, there is something more than words can relate.
With Him, there is a joy that the soul can’t portray.
With Him, there is love that can’t possibly express –
The song in the soul,
The gentle in the heart,
The love that is never dark,
The love that is like a brilliant light… glistening so the world can see….
The joy that lives inside you and me… because we agree…
