Jesus In Me

I want to write

Hope into a life,
Smiles that never sigh,
Gentle that abides,
A music that aspires to write…

Joy into a song,
Gentling the wind,
Coloring the heart gold,
Arising through the knowing…

Of a light who will not fade,
Glistening beyond the grave,
Remembering – in tones of praise,
Where He is, there is grace.

I want to write

Healing to the soul who grieves,
Blessings to the one who kneels,
Beauty to show the heart who sees,
Laughter to the song who agrees…

There is comfort in the wind
There is music in the trees,
There is a song that believes,
Where light is, there is breath…

I want to write

The moment when I believed,
The flames that I still seek,
The dance between this day
And the yesterdays that I held….

In my hand, almost like sand
Falling, tumbling, sinking
Beneath the earth, buried at birth
The wonder beyond thought,
The wonderful caught…

By a heart who knows
Wherever it goes…

There is a love that clings to those
Who simply believe
He is the way, the truth, the life
He is the moment when I find…

I want to write…
About the love of my life,
The love God designed,
The love that is alive – stirring
The story inside, the one who abides…

So I can write…

What I find – is light
Supplied by the vine,
The vine who feeds my soul,
The vine of lasting hope,

Where my story decides
The difference in wrong and right,
Is the love that comes alive
When Jesus speaks to a heart,
When Jesus leads a soul
When Jesus sends His Spirit, His light
So the story – I can write…

Is more love than ink,
More hope than yarn,
More glory than legend,
More God than nature!

I want to write….

About a love that never dies,
A love that came to life
When the Lord came to us,
Giving us hope that is worth….

More than my pen can inscribe,
More than my heart can devise,
More than my soul can compose,
More than anything in this world…

I want to write – His love
Across the lives of those who believe,
Across the world, where we’ll finally see
What it means to truly be free,
What it is to know Jesus in me!
