Joy When E'Er I See
How great is my joy when e’er I see
There by her grave in the cemetery
The bloom upon the red, red rose,
At the place of her earthly repose.
Telling me her spirit lives, and well,
Where someday I, too, shall dwell
Lying beside her here in paradise,
Bringing such joy I cannot surmise
Joy filling my heart; flooding my eyes
Bodies decay, but our soul never dies
How great is my joy when e’er I see
There by her grave in the cemetery
The bloom upon the red, red rose,
At the place of her earthly repose.
