Just Because It's Spring- -
Flowers blossoming oh, they bloom
Just because it’s spring
Listen to the birds as they swoon
Lo, behold the cottonwood trees
Up in the branches those hand waving leaves
Dangling from branch to branch
In the background lies a figure
Of a woman a lovely woman
Oh she’s such a pretty picture
Just because it’s spring
In her floral pretty cotton dress
And in silhouette in the foreground is a man
Standing ever tall behind the rose garden
His promises of live true loves honesty
Is for you girl springs for you sure
Spring fever has warmed up both our hearts
Flowers, blossoming oh, they bloom
Spring time
Listen to us swoon underneath the cottonwood trees ooh wee
And it was spring time winters gone away
You awaited sunshine summers here to stay, yea
As in silhouette in the foreground is us in the garden
Standing tall behind the rose garden embracing
And our promises of love ever so true we two love honesty
This is for you girl spring fever has warmed our hearts together
And the flowers oh, they bloom
As I watch from my lonely room
The air seems to clear
The sounds of noises of the children plays and the cars and buses come near
We do hear
Just because it’s spring
