Kaleidoscope Eyes
He had magic, kaleidoscope eyes!
Now some may scoff at such a thing!
They don't share my joy of living in
his mesmerizing sight.
Nor the dewy twinkles of that magical
San Francisco, foggy, midnight.
His first, warm, yet oh,so silent breath upon
my awaiting cheek.
Knees crumbling, my world falling asunder.
My heart pounding in my ears like a
spring's sudden most welcomed, thunder.
In those dreamy, lusty charms, I wanted always
to live under.
