Land of a Lotta Love
Land Of A Lotta Love
Once upon a rhyme ago
in a land called Lack Of Love.
Where misery abounded
beneath storm clouds all above.
Lived a man of constant sorrow
and just right up the lane.
There lived a lonely lady
who's heart was filled with pain.
One cold, and rainy, afternoon
they both were filled with doubt.
They started talking to each other
and then the sun came out.
When their talk was over
the two of them would learn.
As they turned from one another
dark clouds would all return.
They started meeting daily
and there became a certain spark.
The land called Lack Of Love
no longer seemed so dark
Flowers started growing
by the bench where they both sat.
And grass was turning greener
around where they would chat.
The clouds had all but gone away
and nothing stayed the same.
No longer was there any lack
and the land had changed its name.
Now birds sing in the trees all day
and squirrels play on the ground.
The moon shines brightly in the skies
to pin the shadows down.
There's talk among some folks in town
about blessings from above.
Since Mr Sorrow and Ms Lonesome
had found some way to love.
The whole world was excited.
Lack Of Love had beat the blues!
They all sent their love to them
to celebrate the news.
With faith that went unrealized
like a single drop of rain.
Lack Of Love is overflowing now
with love it can't contain.
Each time you give your love away
even more love then comes back.
So give some love away today
if love is what you lack.
