Lessons From Being a Cancer Sufferer
For the time being I have Given cancer the slip,
And here is a tip,
From my very lip.
Ethnicity does not matter
Culture does not matter,
Colour does not matter.
The size of your brain does not matter,
Your age does not matter,
Your shape does not matter.
Your politics do not matter,
Your Hairstyle does not matter,
Your monetary value does not matter.
There is no guarantee for anyone, not to get it,
So all we can do is face up to it,
And put our energy into fighting it, if we get it.
For those of us who, its stranglehold break,
Or those who get a lucky break,
And never that trip have to take.
I ask them to check which way they lean,
How mean they have been,
And consider what does it all mean.
