Let Me
Let me share the magic of your life,
Access your hot spot,
Go where no one’s ever gone before,
Always share your lot.
Let me decorate your fantasies,
Color black and white,
Cool and restful shade to hottest day
Light to darkest night.
Let me orchestrate a symphony
Music for your ears,
Mellowing cacophony of day,
Balm against your tears.
Let me plumb the depths of what brings smiles,
Friend your inner child,
Standing back to back against your pain
Run beside your wild.
Let me know your dreams of what could come,
Fears too of what may,
Tribal knife wounds joining us for life
Blood against the day.
Let me celebrate your life’s impact
New words to my song,
Brother, sister, precious child of God,
Now where you belong.
Let me too share Love of God’s sweet light,
Servants to His Will,
Higher purposes than ours take flight,
Soaring, serve us still.
