Life, Death, Solitude and Resurrection (Part Two)
Love becomes a mix of four obscurities:
Reproductive evolution, sexual lust, needed companionship, and insecurities
Human beings are guided by a false sense of infatuation
But it is biology that guides human beings, in a process of frustration
Love is the fairytale we all try to disbelieve
But deep down inside, we all believe this phenomenon is not make-believe
Boys await their goddess of blond hair and blue eyes
Beautiful bodies and perfect thighs
Girls await their knight in shining armour
A man of great prestige and excellent valour
We all wait for the perfection we experienced in the world of ideas
Before the invention or conception of our lives
The movies make love seem so easy
A magical mutual spark of interest; it's all just so cheesy
In the real world of love, you will find that most want to use you
Abuse you, chew you, spit you out and won't excuse you
As we grow, we find that the goddess is nonexistent, and the knight of shining armour is
long dead
Instead we go ahead
We lower our standard to something more achievable
And look for someone with a spirit more meaningful
As we are constantly in competition with our respectful brotherhood and sisterhood
Some will find their soul mate right in front of their gate
And others will burn in their desires and curse our chosen fate
Reproductive evolution, sexual lust, needed companionship, and insecurities
We look up towards the sky of fate and destiny for the missing love in our lives
Damning us completely is the curse of death
Eventually experiencing our loved ones breathe their last breath
And one day acknowledging that our breaths are counted
The angel of death will forever hover above us mounted
His axe swinging downward when we least or most expect it
We soon grow old and in pain
We realize that this life has not much to gain
We experience that the darkness surrounding has made us slightly insane
We see that although we stuck to their rule, law, boundary, and lane
That we sit here waiting to conclude and be born again
But only after our bodies and strained and chained into the earth beneath
As our soul escapes from between our grinding teeth and in the sky of fate and destiny
