Love As a Fairy-Tale
If love was meant to be a fairy-tale
Should I ever want it to fail
I would wake everyday as it was spring
And there would be flowers and bells to ring
It would mean I would sleep through at night
When there would be a lover’s moon just right
The picture I keep in my back pocket would not crumble
Where nothing you wanted me to do would be too much trouble
Would I be here now thinking these things to myself
And would know that our love is part of my wealth
Each moment of the day would be a treasure
That we could not help but find infinite pleasure.
