Love Poem
She said
Last night I had an epiphany
I just know its serendipity
Perhaps written in antiquity
Our love in all probability
Will last till eternity
We have such magnetic affinity
After such ecstasy I cannot bear mediocrity
He said
Responding with alacrity
My dear, delectable Felicity
You’re a current of electricity
My heart beats faster in your vicinity
You’ve such charming eccentricity
An intangible mystery
My mind has lost its sensibility
In fact all rationality
I must take this opportunity
To propose in all sincerity
Will you marry me, Felicity?
She said
Overcome with empathy
I will dearest Timothy
He said
Without a hint of irony
There is no I in matrimony
