Lovers in Jewish cemetery
I sent her a kiss on a piece of paper,
that is all I had from back of a wrapper,
she sent me in love a lock of her black hair,
with a note that read ‘this is all I can share”
we two jews died in the concentration camp,
our love still glows from the cemetery lamp.
