Love's Search
Love's Search
by Rick Rucker
If Love needed to find a thing,
That would make the heart go ZING,
It would not have to search too hard,
Wouldn't have to a hire a bard,
Just wait until the snow has left,
Leaving lovers not bereft,
As the temperature does rise,
It puts a twinkle in the eyes.
Brighter colors then abound,
On the people, on the ground,
Things seem to be far more alive,
Ardor seems to truly thrive.
Bathing suits come out in view,
Lovely toned skin does that too,
Few things cause a larger rise,
In heartbeat than some well-tanned thighs.
As clouds surrender to the Sun,
A smile appears on everyone,
Breezes are now quite warm,
All young lovers start to swarm.
To the nearest shore or beach,
Anyplace that they can reach,
When you start to simmer,
You will then become a swimmer.
Few things in this life are better
Than a bathing suit that's wetter
Causing it to cling too tight,
What a lovely, lovely sight!
If Love wanted to do this right,
Love would have to be real bright,
All that's needed to do this thing,
Is to simply wait 'til Spring!
