Then here beloved still set in fare,
I reach for you with you not there.
Ne're so, thy spirit and image blare
from God's duration nearness' care!
And there be nothing can compare
to this fine love from Holy share.
As goodness molding thee aware
does show me glory in thy bear.
Am with thee, then in thy retreat
and in thy purpose in its seat
as God contrived am in thy feat
as holding sky and forming's beat!
And knowing why, from His repeat
my love, my hope, my chastened sweet
am in forever in discreet
as leading, reverent, His oblite!
Is not residing, nor concrete ~
but pure, confiding in His meet!
