Metamorphosis

Line of inquiry: blessings from above, transformed lust to love delusion to illumination, earth-heaven bilocation Once I was an ugly larva in the thick wraps of a cocoon almost dormant, inactive and dull, with no pulse of life in me. my soul was a chrysalis, and I badly longed to see the light. I wanted to become a new creation, with faith and hope abiding in me. soon I felt a stir of life in me, the melting of my ego, and a slow dissolution of doubt and fears. With full surrender to the divine, a new energy overpowered me. wings sprouted on either side, a kaleidoscope of colors. I unfurled my wings like a butterfly and soared into dizzying heights. I reeled round in a vast sky, and saw the source of divine light. Once I had thought, if I set my eyes, on the things of this world, and amass them to my heart’s content, everlasting happiness, I would be able to gather. but I knew I have been in a fool’s paradise. When blessings came from above, love came to conquer, a love so immeasurable. a love that transcended lust and carnality, changing delusions into illumination. making possible earth and heaven bilocation. His love is the only love that changes the thug and the thief, the arrogant and the belligerent, A love that brings about a metamorphosis in life!
