Middle of the Night
She stands there,
hands in the air
swinging hip to hip,
smiling,
I stand here...watching...
falling more in love with her
waiting for her to walk over to me.
But as I waste time
away from her
alone
she looks right at me
and heals everything inside me,
the pain drowns
the demons die
the fire roars
the tears dry up
like the midnight breeze
calling my name
or the oceans waves
singing in the middle of the night
craving her touch
her kiss
her everlasting scent
I can only dream, when she is away
but no here she is
standing right in front of me
arms tightly holding me
as she moves in
to steal me some more.
