Minus Identity who am I

In the pages of my life, I want to write about love that abides, love so alive, a light that shines so bright it stirs hearts and souls to give without expecting anything in return for the promises they have sown with these threads of pure love … quote by poet

I’m music that plays when the trees dance,
Through winds burning with grace, trembling,
Erasing the darkness, the fear, the distance
Between hope and faith, the void
Between love and grace, the vastness
Between my heart and soul, the wonder
That will forever grow inside those who know…

I’m poetry that writes through pain and doubt,
Colors the pages in peace, insight, gentleness,
Reassures the spirit that there is always a reason,
And, God’s love is there – through time
Through every season, breaking through the earth,
In promises that are worth more than dirt,
Soothing away all the hurt with sunshine sands,
Rivers and seas, all the mysteries,
Leaves that vibrate with life, swaying in the nights,
Hesitating on their lonely flight,
As shadows twirl in the cool, crisp air…

I’m the awkwardness of a restless prayer,
The sensitive that clings to the praise,
The revelation that my heart can surely foretell,
The difference in yesterday’s light
And tomorrow’s gestures from the night…

I’m the secret dream, the honest screams,
The reason and the path, the destiny
From the moment I appeared in the womb,
To the moment my soul will accept
The death that is to come – death comes to
Everyone… but death is not the end,
Death may be our friend – if we only believe
The One who created, the One who breathed…

Light through the soul,
Love through the spirit,
Drawing every heart who can hear,
The beauty in the softest voice,
The One so still, so authentic and honest,
The One who measures out grace,
Not with spoons, but with endless seas,
Who beckon hearts to simply believe,
Believe in the One who takes our identity,
And resolves to make us more beautiful,
More tender and more compassionate…

More like the One who promises souls,
When death comes, there is the promise,
That their spirit will be welcome into a home
Where love silences every fear, every doubt,
With the assurance that this is what life is about…
Love that completes, love so perfect and perfecting!
Love like this is beyond describing – it is alive,
And it will always survive, inside,
Where He takes up residence in those who agree
He is the love that never ends – love that never pretends,
Love that is always our very best friend!
