Miracle
Miracle(s)
One miracle! Rainbow's surprise! It's true, most all agree!
Creation where we've played a role, extended family,
That starts, in fact, with mother earth's stardust menagerie,
And ends in evolution's death, the final entropy.
The greatest miracle, Christ's death, whose suffering bought life,
A man whose goal was Love for all, yet never knew a wife,
His only Grace his Father's will, the body of a man,
His virtue was a simple thing, adherence to God's plan!
Most miracles are lesser ones, a child whose life is saved,
A boy who greeting company somehow is well behaved.
Perhaps some might take credit for, but I can not pretend,
My joy in life, drought-breaking fount, is simply you, my friend.
