Mombasa On My Mind
Six hundred and twenty kilometers we drove, all through the night to the quaint town of Mombasa. It had a feel of its own. A mix of Christians, Muslims, and agnostics. With 7 people squeezed into the car we went. Ten hours of potholes, baboons, and a flat tire to boot! We cared nothing for the misery we felt; we had a message to bring! We had a message of holiness and repentance. A message of the Return of the King. Yeshua had sent us and we were determined to deliver the message. Hearts were waiting for our arrival and the Holy Spirit joined us. We sang, we worshiped, and we shared testimonies of our faith. It was the most uplifting trip for the encouragement we brought to the other Christians.
We also had an unpleasant message to deliver as well. A message that stirred the hearts of the people in the small village we visited. The Lord Jesus Christ will bring destruction to this city after the rapture of the bride if the population doesn’t return to Him. He is the Lord God Almighty and He is the One Who controls everything. He is calling the city of Mombasa to return to their first love which is Him. He is calling them to repent and submit their lives to following the Christian principles in His Written Word.
I felt sad as we drove away from that city. I knew the Christians had much work to do in preparing the way for the coming of the Messiah. May they heed the call and begin the good work that we began in the little one-room home. Amen.
