Monsoon
it rained and it rained, when monsoon embraced the fall,
eager was the Earth, waiting for their sacred union to befall.
she befriends the tender drizzle and also rough gust,
for she knows the void of love, and awaits in adust.
it rained and it rained until lovers emerged from their concealment,
and in the clasp of love they danced; melted in each other’s scent.
they held hands gentle yet tight enough to twirl and spin,
for they don’t fear judgment; drenched in rain, skin to skin.
