Love Poem: Moonlit Longing

Moonlit Longing

Moonbeams dance upon my wall
Echoes of laughter, whispers of it all
Fading shadows, eerie silence deep
My heart beats lonely, in a loveless sleep

Sparkling eyes, now lost in the night
Darkness descends, and my heart takes flight
Soul mates torn, by fate's design so grand
Leaving me with a lonely, aching land

Futile attempts to find solace warm
Bodies that yearn, but hearts that do not form
Tender touches, gentle strokes, kind words so bright
Echoes of love, now lost, in the dark of night

Crossroads of life, where paths diverge so wide
Wondering what could've been, a different tide
Dreams that never die, though physical form fades away
Illusionary worlds, built on shared love's ray

Whispered secrets, spoken under moonbeams bright
Radiant light, that shines with love's pure delight
Breathing life into the silence, I'll hold on tight
Imagining you, in another love's light

In the stillness, I'll close my eyes so tight
Clutching my pillow, feeling your gentle might
Somewhere out there, in another universe so wide
Perhaps you're wishing, on the same love's tide

Hoping tomorrow brings renewed hope's promise so bright
Fulfilled dreams, and a heart that's less anxious tonight
In the darkness, I'll hold on to love's guiding light
Leading me through, the endless, sleepless night

In the shadows, I'll search for your gentle hand
A comforting touch, in this desolate land
Though we're apart, my heart still beats for you so true
In the silence, my love, forever shining through

In the moon's silver glow, I'll find my way so bright
Through the darkness, to a brighter, loving light
Where love's echoes, will forever remain so strong
And in my heart, our love will still belong

In the stillness, I'll whisper your name so sweet
And in the silence, our love will still repeat
