Mother Does Damage
By protecting you against every odd
By defending, even when you wrongly stood
By keeping you an ‘ever innocent squad’
By propagating that everyone is good
By nurturing you without facing life’s hardship
By not sharing with you even genuine constraints
By pleasing you every time, with loving kinship
By not chiseling you with reasonable restraints
With preparation of delicious recipes
To particularly suit your taste
Even at odd hours, even when her age ripes
With facing all troubles herself, most
The mother innocently does damage
Which you shall slowly but steadily realize!
When you find it difficult to manage
With outside food and other issues, you recognize!
When you have to face challenges
When you begin to live in the real stage
With catching up of further age
You shall agree, the mother did damage!
