Love Poem: Muse Speaks

Muse Speaks

When trauma lurks
with upper hand,
To know loss
is to fear death
of much-loved reputation
and taxing self-respect.

When therapy
lends Her feminist sway
to know
and co-invest in life
is to predict
and cherish waxing love.

For both these reasons,
we send a significantly wrong message
of blame the victim
when we post public health messages
like "Suicide is preventable"

Which is no more
or less true
than Trauma is
and is not
therapeutically preventable
within one human lifetime,
one relationship,
one compassionate communication herstory,
one encircling LightMind/PowerBody
resiliently brilliant narrative

When trauma lurks
with upper dissociative hand,
To know depression
repression
oppression
suppression
is to fear comprehensive
neurosystemic loss.

When therapy
lends Her feminist sway
to know resonant integrity
reconnecting healthy life's
most resilient impressions
is to predict trust and safety,
respite from trauma history

To fully rekindle compassion's
wealth embodied laughter

And passion's sacramental
deep erotic governing
exotic pleasure mystery.
