My First Date
Would you tell me dear damsel about your first date?
Now don't fool me by saying it was with me at Hotel Mate.
For when we went the hotel staff knew you very well.
The waiters would be on door even before the bell.
Whether it was first or not is no more a subject of debate.
Would you tell me dear damsel about your first date?
O Why not dear, I'll surely tell, if you're so eager to hear
a story of merry cheer, there's no champagne in it , no beer,
That rainy afternoon my radiant face waited for his voice
tender and heavenly, a Prince came to woo in fond rejoice
I could feel him all around passing through all thoughts
It must be that innocent first love, in hearts tied in knots
But in a complex world nothing is straight
Perhaps love was lost in plots of hate
Thar rainy afternoon of moments intimate,
just a cup of coffee captivated my first date.
